Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized with an app that can save the maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power and fine-tune how much water and scrubbing action your mop uses.
A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms while an obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from hitting wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These are essential features for my home, which is filled with strewn-about toys.
- Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum cleaner, so it is naturally with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and can even raise its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is the highest power of any other robot vacuum we've test to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad at over 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically as it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, in order to prevent soaking soft surfaces.
Additionally, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsed and heat-dried within the dock and the dust bin will get emptied and automatically returned to it. This means that you can set it and forget it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I tested it with its standard vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to get power hungry and return to its base to recharge. This isn't too far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've test.
This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with its only downsides being that it's pricey. Its sheer number of features make it a very attractive option for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.
- Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combo. The price is justified by its robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that gyrate. It also includes an app-based controller that is smart and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it performed well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without tangling. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational motion and the powerful cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's real highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, fills up the water tank for mopping and even dries mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. Additionally the mops aren't capable at scrubbing away staining that is as strong as those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's many premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. The mop pads that are sold separately will need to be changed periodically.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey pricing and its extensive features I would recommend it to anyone who has the funds for it. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best mop and robotic vacuum you can buy however, its price and ongoing maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want than a need.
- Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you require to get rid of messes and get rid of dirt from your floors. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs a strong suction power of 8,000 Pa as well as a massive battery that can be used for mopping and vacuuming and top-quality obstacles-avoiding. It has a roller-mop that cleans by itself, making it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs that other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot and is constantly dosed with clean, ozonated water from its dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then takes the mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and dumped into a larger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a good amount of water and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package, just like most other robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This is easily done in the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock should you prefer the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature however, you'll need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands allowing users to select their own choice of cleaners.
As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map a room and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests however this could be fixed when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides lots of features at affordable prices.
- Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner but it does have several impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of an area before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction is capable of removing debris and pet hair on carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is fairly dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start the full map and then clean of everything that is mapped by the device or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones or even a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mop to map the area and determine the most efficient way to clean it.
Like all the Roborock models we've evaluated, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic manner. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, with no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too although it's not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers like thick carpets however it won't always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.
This device has a major issue: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's an easy solution: the app has an option that allows you to "clean up" at the conclusion of each session. You can use the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot clean a little better than its competitors with lower prices.
